Minimum Eligibility Requirements for Undergraduate Day Students
To receive Â鶹ÊÓƵ grants, scholarships and awards, a student must:
- Enroll full-time (at least 12 credits)
- Be accepted into a traditional day degree program
- Be seeking a first bachelor's degree
- Be a United States citizen or eligible non-citizen
- Not be in default on any previous loan or owe a refund on any previous grand award
- Be making satisfactory progress according to the University's requirements for each program
In order to receive Title IV federal and state grants, loans and work programs, a student must:
- Be a United States citizen or eligible non-citizen
- Be accepted into a degree program
- Be seeking a first bachelor's degree
- Not be in default on any previous loan or owe a refund on any previous grant
- Be making satisfactory progress according to the University's requirements (State requirements for PA State grants)
- Not be convicted for possession of sale of drug (federal programs only)
- Register with the U.S. Selective Service System. This requirement is for citizens of the U.S. and male immigrant aliens 18-25 years old. Men can register at any post office or online at the .
Minimum Eligibility Requirements for Continuing Studies Students
To receive Federal and State aid, a student must:
- Enroll in at least half-time (6 credits)
- Accepted into an evening school program or teachers certification program
- Be seeking a first bachelor's degree
- Be a United States citizen or eligible non-citizen
- Not be in default on any previous loan or owe a refund on any previous grant award
- Be making satisfactory progress according to the university's requirements for each program
- Not be convicted for possession of sale of drug (federal programs only)
