At the center of Alvernia’s core values is the notion of partnerships, because when we work together, we all succeed. In the School of Graduate and Adult Education, we partner with the community in several ways:
- We partner with local employers offering a 20% tuition discount to their employees through our Preferred Partnership program.
- We support small business by offering tuition discount to the members of select regional chambers of commerce.
- We work with local business to bring them individualized training programs to educate and train their employees to ensure the have the skills they need to do their jobs well and prepare them for the future.
- We provide various training opportunities to the public both on campus and online including project management, customer experience, leadership, sales, and more.
- In addition to academic certificates and degrees, we provide non-credit academies and workshops to meet the training needs of regional organizations and their employees. These programs are offered on a recurring basis and are open to all partners and delivered online or in person depending on the topic. Academies and workshops can also be customized to fit the specific needs of your organization. We also offer partner organizations access to our portfolio of online, self-paced Coursera courses.
