Alvernia’s MSAT program is fully accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Athletic Training Education (CAATE), ensuring that students receive education that meets the profession's highest standards.
Two distinct MSAT program pathways are offered: the accelerated post-baccalaureate track for those with bachelor’s degrees, which enables completion in two years for a fast-tracked career in athletic training, and the five-year track for undergraduates, which provides a thorough athletic training education with a liberal arts foundation.
Students are required to complete four supervised clinical practicums during the program. These practicums offer hands-on experience, allowing students to practice their athletic training skills in diverse, real-world environments with direct patient contact.
