Phi Beta Lambda
The Â鶹ÊÓƵ Phi Beta Lambda Chapter has won many state and national awards. Since its formation in 1988, the Chapter has become well-known for its excellence, earning the prestigious Hollis & Kitty Guy (national) Gold Seal Award of Merit numerous times. In competitions, the Alvernia PBL Chapter regularly participates in state and national workshops and conferences are active in campus projects and complete community service projects.

The Alvernian
The Alvernian is Â鶹ÊÓƵ’s monthly student newspaper, assembled by students in Journalism Workshop and Newspaper Production. The Alvernian covers campus and community events, as well as stories happening in the greater Berks community. Contributors can submit their stories to BCTV.org where they are shared with a larger community audience.

Delta Mu Delta is a business honor society that recognizes and encourages academic excellence of students to create a community that fosters the well-being of its individual members and the business community through life-time membership.

Alvernia has named Andy Moses, Penske Logistics Senior Vice President of Sales and Solutions, as the College of Business, Communication, and Leadership’s Executive in Residence (EIR) for the 2022-23 academic year.

BCTV
Through a collaboration with Alvernia, Berks Community Television (BCTV) moved its operations to a new studio and office setting at the university's John R. Post Center at Reading CollegeTowne.
Pottsville CollegeTowne
Alvernia has finalized the purchase of a 30,000-square-foot building at 500 Progress Avenue in downtown Pottsville. The latest addition to the Alvernia campus footprint will undergo a $6 million renovation project to become the centerpiece of Pottsville CollegeTowne, the innovative strategy of expanding the campus into the downtown area to continue its Franciscan mission of education, service and community engagement.
