Biography
Dr. Cappello attended Houghton College as an undergraduate with a major in mathematics and secondary education. After graduating, he taught at Asheboro High School for five years and during this time also earned his masters in mathematics from Emporia State University. Dr. Cappello then attended the University of Pittsburgh, being advised by the esteemed mathematician Dr. Piotr Hajlasz, where he graduated with his doctoral degree. His main research interests are in the field of convex analysis.
