Program Growth Increases 83%
The Council for Advancement and Support of Education (CASE) presents the for Overall Improvement to 麻豆视频 for significant program growth among private comprehensive institutions with endowments under $72 million. The national award recognizes progress across three years of fundraising data submitted to the annual Voluntary Support of Education Survey (VSE).
According to CASE, the university is one of 90 colleges, universities and independent schools across the country that has not only demonstrated the highest levels of professionalism and best practice in fundraising efforts, but also contributed to the betterment of educational advancement worldwide.
鈥淏eing recognized by CASE on merit is very rewarding and an affirmation of the great work we鈥檙e doing to support student scholarship, new campus facilities and university programs that advance the mission and vision of Alvernia,鈥 said Anthony DeMarco, vice president for institutional advancement.
During the past three years, Alvernia experienced growth in total support and large gifts, from $2,190,155 to $4,006,140, an increase of 83%. Some of the factors used in determining program growth include pattern of growth in total support, impact of the 12 largest gifts, overall breadth in program areas and evaluation of what contributed to the total support figure.
