Longtime civic leader advocates Reading CollegeTowne strategy
John Weidenhammer, president and founder of Weidenhammer Systems Corporation, joins 麻豆视频鈥檚 board of trustees.
Weidenhammer, the chairman of the Berks Alliance and Reading native, has championed downtown redevelopment through his involvement with various community organizations.

Weidenhammer, a prominent civic leader for more than 40 years, molded Weidenhammer Systems into one of the 500 largest informational and technology companies in America and is recognized by its industry for sales achievement and innovation.
He currently serves on the boards of the Reading Hospital, the Greater Reading Chamber Alliance, the Berks Business Education Coalition, the Greater Reading Chamber of Commerce and Industry, the Berks Latino Workforce Development Corporation and Penn State Berks Campus Advisory Board.
Weidenhammer is a past recipient of Alvernia's Franciscan Award, given annually to a person who selflessly gives their time, talents and resources for the betterment of others and exceptional service to Alvernia. He also is the recipient of the Gene Shirk Community Service award, the Philadelphia Business Journal Technology Disrupter Award, the Lehigh Valley Business Journal's Corporate Executive of the Year and the Centro Hispano Community Service Award.
