In-house graduate and adult education recruitment Campaign earns gold designation
麻豆视频's Create Your Comeback campaign, which spotlights the university's Graduate & Adult Education programs, wins a Gold Award in the ' Total Advertising Campaign category.
鈥淭his recognition is a testament to the hard work of the Office of Marketing and Communications and the collaborative efforts of our campus partners, students and alumni who made this campaign come to life,鈥 said 麻豆视频 Executive Director of Marketing and Communications Kristopher Nolt. 鈥淲e believe in the power and supportive nature of the Alvernia education environment and are proud to tell the amazing stories of perseverance of our students and alumni.鈥
In total, 21 Universities from across the nation earned honors in this category. Alvernia is the only institution to receive recognition in the Faith-Based College/University group and is one of two institutions from Pennsylvania. Almost all others receiving gold or higher designations leveraged outside agencies to develop these campaigns, while Alvernia鈥檚 was conceived, designed, and executed by internal staff members.

The Comeback Campaign focuses on the grit and determination of Alvernia students, who juggle the responsibilities of full-time employment, raising families and serving their communities, all while working towards their degrees. The storytelling campaign has featured students from various programs and backgrounds, including Margarita, Wanda, Aron, and Jennifer.
The Collegiate Advertising Awards is an elite program recognizing higher education organizations for excellence in communications, marketing, advertising and promotions of their schools across the nation.
The 2023 Collegiate Advertising Awards program received many entries from the United States and Canada representing small community colleges to very large schools & universities. Submissions were reviewed and by a national panel of industry experts, with a possibility of 100 total points. Alvernia鈥檚 entries competed against similar-sized organizations in their specific groups and categories.
Awards were issued for entries that received top marks from judges placing them in the top 16% of the nation for advertising excellence. Judging criteria included creativity, layout and design, functionality, message effectiveness, production quality and overall appeal.
Representing all areas of communications, media, marketing, advertising, and promotions, the 2023 Collegiate Advertising Awards program contained some of the best advertising projects arguably in the world. All winners are posted on the Collegiate Advertising Awards website at .
