Â鶹ÊÓƵ offers two pathways to complete the Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) (Doctor of Physical Therapy) program, providing flexibility for students with different educational backgrounds:

  1. 4+3 Year Format: This pathway allows students with bachelor’s degrees from Alvernia or another accredited institution to complete their undergraduate studies before entering the three-year DPT program. Transfer students are welcome to apply.
  2. 3+3 Year Format: This accelerated option lets Alvernia students in majors like Biochemistry, Biology, Healthcare Science, or Psychology transition into the DPT program during their senior year. It enables students to earn both degrees in six years instead of seven.
