The Dr. Frank A. Franco Library Learning Center librarians and staff work with faculty and students in a variety of ways to find and evaluate the information needed for research and coursework.

The librarians welcome the opportunity to cooperate with faculty in integrating information literacy skills into the curriculum. Interested faculty members can contact the Reference and Instruction Librarian at 610-568-1534 to explore the content to be addressed by a librarian, and the most appropriate time to schedule one or more sessions with one of the librarians.

The Library personnel are available to assist students and faculty on an individual basis with all aspects of searching and evaluating information. Students and faculty can contact us in a number of ways – whichever method is most convenient.

  • Ask for assistance in the Library: Ask one of the librarians for assistance or ask for assistance at the Circulation Desk.
  • Set up an appointment to meet with one of the Reference Librarians: Librarians are available to meet with students and faculty on an individual basis to discuss your information research needs and appropriate strategies for accessing the information. Please call 610 796-8223 to schedule an in-person or virtual appointment with one of the librarians.
  • Contact us by submitting an Ask A Librarian form: You can contact us by filling out and submitting the form.
  • Ask your question by email: Reach a librarian at Alvernia.library@alvernia.edu
  • 24/7 Live chat with a librarian: Contact a librarian with questions instantly using our chat service. During Library Service hours, you’ll connect with an Alvernia librarian. Outside of business hours, you’ll be connected with librarians from our partner libraries in PA.
