Shape Young Minds & Gain Real-World Experience


Interning with Total Experience Learning allows students to develop teaching and interpersonal skills, and make a meaningful and lasting impact on K鈥12 students. TExpL offers undergraduates immersive internships and one-off workshop experiences to gain hands-on exposure to education settings, industry-standard tools and explore the Total Experience Learning methodology. This opportunity is not just for education majors 鈥 all majors may apply.

Witness your efforts in action as you support student projects and see young learners bring their ideas to life. You鈥檒l be more than just an observer; you鈥檒l be a catalyst in the classroom, guiding students as they dive into hands-on learning experiences.

Master Industry-Standard Equipment


Develop skills that go beyond the academics by training on real-world tools used in cutting-edge industries. Learn alongside educators to apply these tools in ways that inspire students and support their exploration of science, technology, engineering, creative arts and math.

Assist in Our Annual Summer Program for 5th鈥12th Grade Students


Be part of the excitement and energy of our high-quality summer program, where students attend seminars based on their area of interest or 鈥渢rack.鈥 As an intern, you鈥檒l help with logistics, facilitate student seminar choice, mentor students and support their exploration in a range of subjects. As an intern, you will play a key role in making it unforgettable summer for these students on Alvernia鈥檚 campus.

Description: In today鈥檚 world, misinformation affects communities in diverse and often complex ways. The Euphorigen Investigation offers you a hands-on opportunity to explore how deceptive tactics鈥攍ike manipulated data, bot accounts, and deepfakes鈥攄istort our perception of reality. Set within an immersive, game-like environment that mirrors real-life situations, this escape room experience challenges teams to collaborate, solve intricate puzzles, and uncover hidden truths behind the deception.

Jan. 21: Light Painting Photography Workshop

Audience: 5th&苍产蝉辫;鈥12th grade, Undergrad, Graduate and Adult Learners Welcome

Description: Light Painting Photography is a photographic technique where you set up a scene to photograph, and in pitch darkness use a flashlight to "paint " the scene, which is captured by a camera on a tripod. In the workshop you will create beautiful photographs with the appearance of an oil painting , and learn about scene composition, camera settings and techniques, post processing techniques etc while having a fun time.

Jan. 23: Jazz Jam: The Art of Improvisation

Description:  Step into the world of jazz and unlock the secrets of musical improvisation! In this workshop, students will dive into the vibrant rhythms and expressive melodies that define jazz music. They'll learn the fundamentals of jazz theory, chord progressions, and solo techniques, discovering how to create spontaneous, soulful music in the moment. Students will practice the art of 鈥減laying off the cuff,鈥 gain confidence in their musical voice, and experience the thrill of making music that鈥檚 fresh, unique, and all their own. Whether you鈥檙e a budding musician or just jazz-curious, join us to explore how to listen, feel, and express yourself through jazz improvisation. Get ready to jam!
